Early years Teachers

An Early Years Teacher (often referred to as a Kindergarten Teacher or Preschool Teacher) is a professional educator who focuses on the development of young children, typically between the ages of 2 and 6. The primary role of this position is not only to teach basic academic skills (reading, writing, and arithmetic), but also to stimulate children's motor, social, emotional, and creative development through play-based learning.

• Designing Lesson Plans: Developing creative, safe, and enjoyable daily lesson plans in accordance with the school's curriculum (e.g., the Independent Curriculum, Montessori, Cambridge Early Years, or International Baccalaureate).

• Facilitating Learning Activities: Leading classroom activities such as storytelling, singing, arts and crafts, and motor games to build children's focus and confidence.

• Development Monitoring & Evaluation: Regularly observing and recording each child's growth and development, including cognitive development, language skills, social interaction, and independence.

• Communicating with Parents: Holding regular meetings with parents to report on their children's development and provide collaborative advice to support their learning at home.

• Maintaining a Safe Environment: Ensuring classrooms and play areas are always clean, hygienic, child-friendly, and free from hazardous objects to prevent injuries.

• Primary Education: Minimum Bachelor's Degree (S1) in Early Childhood Education (PG-PAUD), Child Developmental Psychology, or other related educational field.

• Hard Skills: Fluency in English (especially for national plus or international schools), mastery of early childhood classroom management, and specialized teaching certification (such as Montessori training) are a major plus.

• Soft Skills: Possess exceptional patience, compassion, high-energy, and cheerful disposition, as well as strong persuasive communication skills to calm young children.
