Teknisi AC

An AC Technician is a skilled tradesperson responsible for installing, maintaining, cleaning, and repairing air conditioning and cooling systems. Operating in residential, commercial, or industrial settings, they ensure that indoor environments remain comfortable, well-ventilated, and energy-efficient while strictly adhering to safety and environmental regulations.

• Routine Cleaning & Servicing: Performing high-pressure water washing on indoor evaporators and outdoor condenser units to clear dust, dirt, and mold blockages.

• System Installation: Correctly mounting indoor units, drilling walls for pipe passages, installing outdoor brackets, connecting copper tubing, and running proper drainage lines.

• Leak Detection & Repair: Using pressure gauges or soap bubble tests to locate gas leaks in copper pipes or flare joints, welding broken points, and refilling the system.

• Electrical Component Replacement: Diagnosing and replacing malfunctioning parts such as remote receiver boards, fan motors, capacitors, and electronic expansion valves.

• Education: Minimum of a High School Diploma or Vocational High School Graduate specializing in Mechanical, Electrical, or Refrigeration Engineering (SMK Teknik Pendingin dan Tata Udara / SMK Listrik is highly preferred).

• Experience: 1–3 years of hands-on experience in AC maintenance or building facilities. Strong fresh graduates with practical school internship records are also highly considered.

• Certifications (Highly Value-Adding): BNSP Certification for Refrigeration Technicians (Sertifikasi Kompetensi Teknisi Pendingin), or Occupational Health and Safety certificates (K3 Umum/Listrik).

• Language: Basic technical English is highly valuable, as technical error codes, operational manuals for modern inverter AC units, and diagnostic tools are entirely in English.
