Security

A Security Guard is responsible for safeguarding a company's physical property, assets, employees, and guests from safety threats, theft, vandalism, or illegal entry. Operating at critical entry points, patrolling premises, and monitoring surveillance systems, they enforce security policies and act as the first line of defense and emergency response to maintain a safe, orderly environment.

• Access Control & Guarding: Standing guard at main gates or reception desks, checking visitor identifications, issuing guest badges, and inspecting incoming vehicles or bags for prohibited items.

• Routine Foot Patrols: Conducting scheduled walks around the property perimeter, parking zones, and dark corridors to ensure all doors are locked, alarms are set, and no hazards exist.

• CCTV & Alarm Monitoring: Actively watching live surveillance camera feeds and immediately investigating any tripped fire alarms, motion sensors, or panic buttons.

• Guest Greeting & Hospitality Support: Acting as a helpful point of contact by opening doors, directing traffic, guiding guests to parking spaces, and providing basic property directions with a polite demeanor.

• Official Security Certification: Must possess a valid Gada Pratama certificate (the mandatory basic Indonesian police-approved security training). Higher ranks like Gada Madya are required for supervisor positions.

• Experience: Entry-level friendly for certified individuals. Prior experience in corporate, retail, or hospitality security—or a background in military/police services—is highly prioritized.

• Language: Basic-to-conversational English is highly vital, especially in international corporate offices or tourist-heavy regions, to confidently greet foreign guests, ask for identification, and direct them to the lobby or parking areas.

• Background Check: A completely clean criminal record certificate (SKCK mandatory) and passing a rigorous medical/drug test.
