Operational Manager

An Operational Manager oversees the daily, high-level business functions of a company to guarantee maximum efficiency, productivity, and profitability. Serving as the vital bridge between executive leadership and ground-floor staff, they design internal standard operating procedures (SOPs), optimize supply chains, manage departmental budgets, eliminate operational waste, and lead team training to ensure the business runs smoothly like a well-oiled machine.

• Daily Business Oversight: Monitoring everyday business operations across multiple departments (e.g., sales admin, logistics, customer service, or production teams) to ensure all units meet daily targets.

• SOP Implementation & Auditing: Frequently reviewing, updating, and enforcing internal company handbooks and guidelines to maintain excellent safety, service, and output standards.

• Supply Chain & Vendor Management: Negotiating contracts with third-party suppliers, supervising inventory levels, and securing cost-effective procurement deals to protect company margins.

• Operational Expense Management: Reviewing and approving corporate expense claims, checking financial receipts, and ensuring departmental spending stays strictly within the monthly budget boundaries.

• Team Performance & Resource Allocation: Conducting routine performance reviews, identifying training gaps, hiring key personnel, and strategically assigning manpower to busy operational zones.

• Education: Bachelor’s Degree (S1) or Master's Degree (S2) in Business Administration, Industrial Engineering, Management, Hospitality Management, or a related field matching the company's specific industry.

• Experience: 5–8+ years of progressive experience in business operations, with at least 2–3 years spent directly in a supervisory or assistant managerial role leading teams.

• Certifications (Highly Advantaged): Lean Six Sigma, Project Management Professional (PMP), or specialized management framework certifications (such as COBIT or TOGAF for IT operations) are huge competitive advantages.

• Language: Fluent corporate written and spoken English is mandatory. They must confidently draft cross-departmental memos, negotiate vendor contracts, and present operational reports to multinational investors or board members.
