Housekeeping

A Housekeeping staff member ensures the highest standards of cleanliness, hygiene, and aesthetic presentation throughout a property. Operating across hotel rooms, private luxury villas, or resort public areas, they reset guestrooms between check-outs, refresh amenities, clean surfaces, manage linens, and handle guest requests with a polite, helpful demeanor to ensure a comfortable and premium guest experience.

• Guestroom Cleaning Execution: Stripping and replacing dirty bedsheets/towels, scrubbing bathrooms, dusting surfaces, vacuuming carpets, and mopping floors to flawless standards.

• Amenity Replenishment: Restocking essential items inside the guestrooms and bathrooms, including complimentary water bottles, coffee/tea supplies, soaps, shampoos, and toilet papers daily.

• Trolley & Inventory Management: Organizing and restocking the housekeeping trolley with linens, chemicals, and amenities at the start of every shift, keeping tools perfectly neat.

• Linen & Laundry Coordination: Sorting soiled linens from clean ones, recording quantities, and coordinating directly with the laundry department for chemical processing.

• Education: Minimum of a High School Diploma or Vocational High School Graduate (SMK Perhotelan / Pariwisata is highly preferred). Diploma (D1/D3) graduates in Hospitality or Tourism are highly competitive for fast-track supervisor roles.

• Experience: 0–2 years of experience. Highly entry-level friendly for certified individuals or individuals who have completed official hotel internship programs (On-the-Job Training). Prior experience in commercial cleaning or private luxury villas is a major plus.

• Language: Basic-to-conversational English is highly essential, particularly in tourist-heavy destinations or international hotels, to confidently greet foreign guests, understand specific service requests (e.g., asking for extra towels, iron boards, or bottled water), and report room statuses.

• Clean Record: A completely clean criminal record (SKCK) is mandatory, alongside absolute honesty and high integrity due to unsupervised access to guest rooms and valuable belongings.
